Is Torsten Landschoff MIA?

Hello there,

I'm pretty sure torsten is not exactly an MIA (db.d.o tells me he sent
a mail to d-d@l.d.o in Mar. 16, 2004), but seems his
Ghostscript-related packages are loaded with so many bug reports. His
own last uploads were around mid-2003, NMUs are repeated several times
since then. New upstream versions are available and patches or easy
fixes are in hand for some of them. In addition, say, unclear
licensing issue on some files (Bug#226088) is well worth a RC, I
guess.

I prepared packages for NMU and sent a mail to d-d@l.d.o on this issue
(http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2004/debian-devel-200403/msg01612.html).
Cc'd to torsten, but not got a response yet.

torsten, please speak up - do you have any specific reason to keep
older version of gs? Do you accept an NMU? Or do you want me to take
the maintainership over? Please let me know what you think. Or does
anyone know if he is on vacation?

Best regards,
MH
