As upstream Python 2.6 RM, I can tell you that there will be exactly one
more[1] 2.6 release: 2.6.9.  This will be the final security release for that
version and I plan on doing it in October, as stated in PEP 361.  Then, thank
Guido, I will finally be able to close that branch. :)
