According to <https://belug.de/~beldi/documentation/>, Debian includes BeLDi from squeeze on. This is unfortunately not true yet, given that there were two ITPs that were never closed with an update to the official Debian archive, see <http://bugs.debian.org/504636> and <http://bugs.debian.org/534875>.
