Let me take this chance to reiterate publicly a comment I've already made in private (replying to an inquiry about conference sponsoring), unfortunately without any effect: On Tue, 5 Oct 2010 11:02:19 +0200, Stefano Zacchiroli wrote: > What I can do, however, is to help you in fund-raising to enable > people to attend. How about preparing one, adding a > mention on how to help attendance overseas via donations? It's not too late to advertise the event as it deserves, possibly even enabling more people to attend. Can you, or anyone else involved with the organization and/or interested in the event, take a little time in preparing a draft announcement and mail it to -publicity for comments and final publishing? That would also help for the stated goal of raising awareness of Debian activities in the area. Cheers -- Stefano Zacchiroli -o- PhD in Computer Science \ PostDoc @ Univ.
