- From my perspective, the parties are:
A) Sven, B) the software in the archive, C) the end users, D) the Debian infrastructure,
and E) other DD's

Debian's #1 priority is to protect C 

E has the responsibility to protect B, C and D

At the moment A is losing support from E because of his behavior.

In the beginning A was trusted by E. 

Because of his behavior, E trusts A less. 

Trust is not a one-sided thing, it requires 2 or more parties.

Just because A wishes E to trust him more, does not make it so. Only
Jedi's can change peoples thinking. A is not a Jedi :-)
