I bet most developers have no reason to believe you guys are even real. If you are too busy with sarge to tend to NEW packages, package removals, the various files controlling the archive or your inbox, tell us! Everyone understands that sarge has priority over new packages. If you are not busy with sarge, tell us what you are doing for Debian that makes you have no time for the above tasks! If you do not have enough time for Debian, tell us so that we can train people to assist! We rank our users as top priority, and we promise not to hide problems. Developers are users, and you are treating them like secondary members of the project, prioritising your own (hidden) agenda. And silence in combination with stagnation smells an aweful lot like "hiding problems" to me. If you are now going to say that "hiding problems" refers to our public BTS, don't; to many of us, it means a whole lot more. None of this is personal. I am bitching at a role.
