What exact ISO did you use powerpc or ppc64?

...never mind, I just recognized your other mail.

So you are using the powerpc version, which could behave differently
than the ppc64 version.

Not sure how you got beyond the issue with the "local" keyword outside
of a function in zfs-devices, but could you also provide a screenshot of
the log around where you started the grub installation step?
