Re: sid installer images with LXDE desktop environment

I understand that. I can work on tying to fix vim to have it built from source. The point I wanted to make is if someone is willing to help or create an installer image that is able to install LXDE. The iso would need to have all the required packages for the installation of LXDE. I think it should be possible to create such images with debian-cd.

You will still have to fix the affected packages first. Otherwise, they have to
be built manually with the testsuite disabled and uploaded in order to be able
to build a working CD image. It doesn't matter whether it's a NETINST image or
a desktop installer.
