Is there a way to inject "my" version ofgrub-installer.udeb into a Debian installation without recreating the ISO?The package manager for udebs is called "anna" (Anna is Not Nearly Apt) and its README might help you [1].FWIW, if you cannot manage to use anna to install your modified package, just let me know and I can build ISO images with your changes. It takes a bit longer due to having to push the package onto the FTP server but it's guaranteed to work.
I was just about giving an update in another message (will send it right after this). I focused on `grub-installer` the last hours and haven't yet tried to build and install a modified udeb. I'd like to try that first before rebuilding, because if manage to get a modified udeb installed with anna, it would be a useful functionality for later development.
On the other hand, that change shouldn't affect any other subarches than "newworld_powermac", so why not create a new image. But wait for my next message, because there could be more changes to incorporate. :-)
