mate gives the same result - don’t have a lot of time to fiddle around with it - but IO will try again at some stage and report back on any success - its very interesting that yellowdoglinux 6.2 runs to graphics display no problem but debian 8 doesn’t - maybe there is something to be learned form ydl about how to get these old clunkers going again...
Peter Saisanas has build a fixed kernel for us G5 users that he wants us to try. In that thread, he gives very complete instructions for how to install it.
