If it has a radeon graphics card then note that currently DRI with AGP will show this behaviour: the system will freeze upon switching back to X from suspend to disk. The workaround is to either disable AGP (force bus to PCI, but this happens to freeze for me sometimes when scrolling quickly) or to disable DRI (much more reliable for me) johannes
