I got me a MSI US54SE stick with zd1211b chip. Even after installing the
zd1211-firmware package it did not work. I had to download the latest
firmware from sourceforge and manually copy it to /lib/firmware/zd1211
(instead of the place where zd1211-firmware places them). After that I
had a working wlan adapter. I did not have enough steam left to get the
connection working (with WPA2). I will try that tonight.

I installed pbbuttonsd and now the iMac keys for cd eject and the volume
keys do work. Unfortunately the powerkey does not seem to work. I also
wasn't able to put the machine into some sleep mode. pmud states that it
is not meant to be run on this kind of machine (and it did not work
anyway) and apmd didn't do anything useful either. How can I put the
machine into some sleep mode or use the power key to shut it down?

Thanks,
	Alex
