iMac Indigo freezes after upgrade to Sid

Hi,

I have the following problem. After upgrading from Debian Sarge to Sid I 
have major issues getting a GUI. GDM is starting excruciatingly slow and 
clicking on anything freezes the whole system.

My guess is that it has to do with the xserver-xorg. Does anyone have a 
solution, maybe altering some setting in the xorg.conf file or something?
