No sound with new kernel on old PowerBook G4

Hi,

I have an old PowerBook G4 (PowerBook3,2) and recently switched to a
2.6.17 kernel with the official linux-image-2.6.17-1-powerpc package
(until now, I was using a 2.6.12 kernel I had compiled myself).

When I want to use ogg123, I now get the error:

ALSA lib confmisc.c:670:(snd_func_card_driver) cannot find card '0' 0.0%
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:391:(snd_func_concat) error evaluating strings
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_concat returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:1070:(snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: No such device

ALSA snd_pcm_open error: No such device

Error: Cannot open device alsa09.

and with mpg123:

ALSA lib confmisc.c:670:(snd_func_card_driver) cannot find card '0'
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:391:(snd_func_concat) error evaluating strings
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_concat returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:1070:(snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: No such device
ALSA lib conf.c:3947:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such device
ALSA lib pcm.c:2146:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
ALSA snd_pcm_open error: No such device
Can't find a suitable libao driver. (Is device in use?)

What should I do?
