Recent kernels bombing when compiling them with CUDA but without PMU support

Hi, Ben.

I don't know if you've seen the messages that I've been exchanging with
Sven, but it seems that both of us are having problems with getting
recent kernels compiled with the least amount of options possible, for
generating miboot floppies where the kernel would fit.

The problem is that the kernel compiles bombs when we include CUDA
support, but exclude PMU support (which, AFAIK, oldworlds don't
have---please let me know if I am wrong here).

Have you seen this? Would you like further details?

Thank you very much, Rogério.
