StyleWriterII on non-PPC Linux

Hello,

This is probably a little off-topic but can anyone tell if and how it is possible
to use StyleWriter II on a non-PPC Debian box. If it is possible, will a parallel
to 8-pin minidim cable do the trick? What else do I need for using old printers?
