AFAIK /dev/dsp is a OSS device and ALSA uses /dev/snd/*.
Modprobe snd-pcm-oss and snd-mixer-oss to enable an OSS-emulation
through /dev/dsp. If it works, append the modules to /etc/modules to
have them loaded automatically at boot time.
