are you sure? The problem is that powerbook's mini-pci slot is not
standard. I hope that you will find a suitable card, but I think it will
be difficoult.

To resolve the problem, I bought a dlink DWL-122 (usb), tht worked
perfectly.

Oh... that's sad... hmm... I thought I'd solved the problem... I still really am unhappy with the quality of the broadcom card though and have thought about replacing it for that reason... Not a standard mini-pci huh? Does anybody know what kind of slot it is, pictures of it or anything... At the moment I'm using a lucent card that got ripped out of an old airport base station, it works great in the pcmcia slot, good reception too... but not as nice as having something inside that works.
