Re: X wont start on ibook



It was using the radeon framebuffer. It seemed that X wasn't upgraded, which is odd, so I apt removed it, clean the cache, and reinstalled and xfree86 4.3 works!!!! Thanks *so* much for your help.

did you also remember to set the kernel option
  video=radeonfb

instead of video=ofonly.
