This is a bit stupid. I don't understand why /etc/modprobe.conf has
been moved to /etc/modprobe.d/ as it is still used (though not needed).
I assume that it should be moved to its original place, right?

I use it, but don't read all the changelog (often much text to read
and generally not very interesting).
