i've also been trying everything with the 2.6.7 kernel. you say 2.6.7-rc2... do
you mean that for 3d acceleration... or for it to work at all? i can't even get
X up and running, never mind acceleration. vga doesn't work and there is no vesa
fallback in ppc it would appear...
