which packages to deinstall before upgrade to 2.6

Hi all,

Are there any packages which one should deinstall after upgrading to 
2.6. Since the 2.6 kernel has a lot of extra support.

So I was wondering if packages like cpudyn or hfsplus or whatever need 
to be deinstalled to avoid having double or perhapds conflicting 
functionality on your system.
