I tryied the same image (booting from CD) in a 7044/170
(CHRP64) and I get the same message, but it reboots 
after hang.

I tryied the following:
0> boot cdrom:,\boot.img console=ttyS0,9600 root=/dev/sda3

I rename the image to boot.img
