Re: Hangs on setting the system clock

Unfortunately, ctrl-c will not abort the process. :/
How can I suppress it entirely? Something like the singleuser boot (command-s) on OS X or safe boot on Windows?

I just compiled the kernel-source-2.4.22 package into another custom

Are there any known issues with this? And, if not, what sort of
information would help debug this?

I had the same problem on my ibook 2.2 this weekend, not having the
yet to further debug it i pressed ctrl-c to abort the hanging process and
removed the offending init script from /etc/init.d/ :D
