There-s no 2.4.23-benh, there maybe a -ben1 eventually :) I want
to know the exact version.

There isn't anything more recent than 2.4.23-ben1 (if that's what
you have) on the 2.4 front yet. I don't remember if my fix for the
iBook G4 made it in time though. You can test my 2.6, it should
work fine.
