Not on your local system... on the website you grabbed the XF86Config
from:

http://hadess.net/files/ppc/ibook/
http://hadess.net/files/ppc/ibook/iBookDV-install.txt is the name of the
install guide

Michel is right, make sure you run the right frame buffer device (by
checking the output of dmesg)

You're still using OFFB (it crashes with OFFB, see the thread in October
last year when Michel helped me get X up and running on the iBook
Firewire)
