wrong. quik cannot follow symlinks so you must edit /etc/quik.conf
every time to point at the real kernel image (/boot/vmlinux-2.2.19 or
whatever). the postinst questions about generating a quik.conf are
broken as they will just point quik at a symlink which doesn't work.

the postinst bootloader questions are not compatible with yaboot so
you should answer no to all of them. with yaboot symlinks are fine so
your correct about not needing to modify anything if you have image=/vmlinux

IOW the kernel bootloader questions are totally worthless on powerpc,
i have filed a bug which is being happily ignored.
