powerbook G3 XFree86 4.02

I am having trouble configuring XFree86 4.0.2 on a Powerbook G3.
running Debian testing
Operating System: Linux 2.2.18pre21 ppc [ELF]

I posted my XF86Config-4, yaboot.conf, and XFree86 log here:
http://ames.iowalab.com/~bondu/

I was running YDL 1.2 on this machine with no problems. I set the screen type to LCD in Xconfigurator and it worked just fine. I have been wrestling getting it set up in Debian for a few days now and gleamed the config files I am using from this list.

here are the last lines of the X error log:

(II) Module mouse: vendor="The XFree86 Project"
	compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.0

any help would be greatly appreciated.
