Re: apt-setup from HFS

hi!
long time no write

got encouraged by
this thread that went across acouple of weeks ago
and

> mount -t hfs /dev/sdb5 /macos actually.

made me do

mount -t hfs /dev/hda13 /mnt

for my iBook(tangerine)

now trying to go further than the smallest base2.2 things

hda13 doesn't have enough space to copy
all that are on the ftp-tree
(maybe sould move them to the debians "/" partition?
if yes where would be the best place to make it's directry)
so
just download things that might be needed

did the dselect(apt) and when selecting
it told me what other .deb will be needed

so added those too

these were copyed into a tree at hda13
dists/potato/main/binary-powerpc/[each-folder]

Packages & Packages.gz
downloaded from the ftp-site is also on the same directry

now

tried to install
but apt gives the message that
it cannot find the files
some seems to be what i haven't select

everything must be downloaded before apt-ing?

well
maybe should have read those how-tos before trying these
but
if someone could give me some hints
that's super thank you

hope i can succeed before Mar24...the osX day
