One thing I should have mentioned, is that this boot floppy is NOT appropriate for doing installations with the 2.2r2 CDs because it uses the 2.2.17 kernel, which is not what the CDs are configured for.  It will work as a sort of a rescue floppy in conjunction with the root file system floppy in that you can boot, set nvram parameters, mount your hard disk and fix things you broke, and so on.  You know, the old [ctrl]-[alt]-[F2] combo to get the shell.

I'm still working on a boot floppy with 2.2.18pre21 that works normally, ie., without the need for fast floppy insertions, etc.  ~:^)
