its really strange, i hear about people having problems with gpm and X
fighting over the mouse, but i have not ever had this trouble running
both...

i have heard you can use gpm's repeater mechanism to run both but i
found that it made the mouse act about as presise as a win* box.  (ie
a hyperactive flea)

apt-get install mozilla ?  if it is not packaged just compile it
yourself.
