Try aumix. On my Wallstreet Powerbook G3, There were two different sound
destinations, one for the internal speaker, and one for the headphone
jack. In the kernel, I didn't even enable OSS sound modules; all I did was
to compile sound support and the PowerMac DMA support straight into the
kernel, and this seemed to work great, of course, as always, YMMV.
