gnuplot needs libvga.so but doesn't depend on any package that provides it
Package: gnuplot
Version: 3.7.1p1-1
Severity: grave
-- System Information
Debian Release: potato
Architecture: powerpc
Kernel: Linux plukwa.pdi.net 2.2.8d #6 Tue Aug 10 11:13:51 CEST 1999 ppc
Versions of packages gnuplot depends on:
ii libc6 2.1.2-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii libpng2 1.0.5-0.1 PNG library - runtime
ii xlib6g 3.3.5-1.1 shared libraries required by X cli
ii zlib1g [libz1] 1:1.1.3-5 compression library - runtime
-- Configuration Files:
/etc/gnuplot.conf changed:
is_suid=yes
This might affect only PowerPC port. Every time i tried to run gnuplot it
exits wit message "Can't load libvga.so shared library file" (or some such).
Yet gnuplot doesn't depend on svgalib package. Selfcompiled source package
doesn't have that problem (mostly because i don't have svgalib-dev installed)
