Ok, that's OPTION 3, but with a very big list of programs specified.
I think the problem with that is that the list of programs is way too
big, and includes programs which nobody in practice will ever build
in.
Debian does *not* promise--and should not promise--that you can
substitute any old Posix ls in place of ls.
