An unknown number of packages already have RC bugs, and their release-
criticality has been ignored for the release of sarge. This includes
test "-a"/"-o" as well as other issues, which some people are happy to
fix.

And then it's the responsibility of all maintainer scripts to work
around bugs in both bash and dash. I'm strongly opposed to the
suggestion of a list of shells in policy rather than a list of rules
that we actually intend to follow.
