[lack of] Public apology to Joseph Carter

PSG> Huh? "That's Not My Problem" != You need a psychiatrist.
Yeah, I did drop a little context along the way. If you'd read
Joseph's first reply to my message, you'd see what I was referring to.
I may be insane, but I strive for accuracy:

Sincere? Probably.
This is the comment I was flaming:
JC> But I can recommend a good mental health specialist (the one I
JC> escaped from in fact!)
Sarcasm and self-deprecation don't mix. If you're going to be
self-deprecating, you'd better not be sarcastic, or self-deprecating
people (like me) will think you're an egomaniac. If you're going to
be sarcastic, don't be self-deprecating, or sarcastic people will
think you're a wimp.

All in all, I think my words achieved exactly the desired effect, so
I'm not going to apologize for them. Sorry (for not apologizing).
I bet that you (dear reader) will never forget to be extra polite,
understanding, gentle, and rational when you reply to my messages, now
that you understand how easily provoked I am.
I also bet that nobody on this list will idolize me, if they ever did
in the first place. I consider that a tremendous benefit, at the
cost of having to use a few cheap swear words. ;)
