	You misunderstand me. I never intended to subsume menu.sgml
 into policy.sgml, you have correctly come up with some reasons why
 that would be silly.

	I shall, however, move for moving menu.sgml into
 debian-policy*.deb. I want the menu sub policy in the policy package
 for the reasons I have given elsewhere.

	All your arguments are predicated on that misunderstanding, so
 I shall not quote and refute them here.

	For example, you example of the FSSTND was very germane to the
 issue, and proves my point. The policy package does indeed have a
 copy of the FSSTND. We should also gather all the other documents
 that have the weight of policy and are scattered to the four winds.

	Have I satisfied your objections?
