Neither of those work for me. Both of them immediately bring up a
window asking me to save the file, stripping the gz extension, and not
displaying it. I completely deleted the x-gzip line out of my .mailcap,
too, and it didn't help. I manually copied the Netscape*encodingFilters
from Netscape.ad into my .Xdefaults file and ran xrdb and it still
didn't help (of course, I was skeptical that it would. I've never had
any luck getting Netscape to recognize any of my .Xdefaults settings
besides *geometry. If anyone has had any luck getting *blinkingEnabled:
False to work, let me know).
How did you install your version of Netscape?
