Well, I guess a rationale is that saying `never' anything is
dangerous (remember -- nah -this program shall never last as long as
the year 2000). If indeed the default changes (even though there is
no current intention to do so -- not listing it in the package and
using the postinst entirely would still work.
Why take chances?
