Byte-compiling ELisp files
I could not find references in the Policy Manual about byte-compiling
Elisp files (*.el) before inclusion in packages. Besides being smaller,
byte-compiled files (*.elc) load a way faster in (X)Emacs.
My apologies if this problem was discussed before in debian-policy. As
the search with Glimpse is not working et
http://www.debian.org/Lists-Archives, I was not able to check.
Please, Cc: your replies to me, because I am not subscribed to
debian-policy.
