Thank you for your offer to help with the maintenance of packages.

We are just about to migrate from alioth to salsa (alioth is going 
away in May), so I think there is no point to add you to the alioth 
project. 

If you have an account on salsa.debian.org, and admin could add you to 
the perl-team/modules group and you could start working after the 
migration (planned for this weekend).

In the mean time, there is a lot to read. Most of our procedures are 
in https://pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org/ goals.html, policy.html, 
git.html etc, but bear in mind that all parts mentioning alioth will 
change.

When you have questions, ask them either on this list, or in the 
#debian-perl IRC channel (OFTC/irc.debian.org).
