I will look at that link and try to prepare myself for getting some work done.

I am very interested. I will try to get to the workshop a little early so I can
have some free time to get some work done. I realize you might be busy before the
conference so I will try to be as self starting as possible. :)

Of course my principal interest is in how to package debs, but since they are fairly
simple (at least in comparison to an rpm) then work done on debs can probably be easily
extended to other distros.
