The problem is, Apache2::AuthenNTLM depends on Authen::Smb >= 0.95 (as seen in AuthenNTLM.pm). So it ships 0.96 with the source. But the Authen::Smb upstream at CPAN is only 0.91. I wrote Will Lowe asking how to handle this problem. I don't know how. Maybe i should conflict with libauthen-smb-perl (< 0.91) and provide it with libapache2-authenntlm-perl? (different binaries?) But how can i handle the different versions (0.02 vs 0.96)?
Maybe Apache2::AuthenNTLM people could upload their version of Authen::Smb to CPAN? Seems like the most sensible thing to do. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
