Re: Bug#224258: amavisd-new: Fails to install due to a missing module
I have CC'ed this to debian-perl, as it is looking like a perl problem and
not a amavis problem. If that is the case, who should get it and why,
for example, doesn't hmh get the bug on his system?

Could be, I think this might be a perl brokeness and not really amavis'
fault.

perl -e 'use MIME::Decoder::Base64;'
MIME::Base64 version 2.04 required--this is only version 1.08 at
/usr/share/perl5/MIME/Decoder/Base64.pm line 55.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at
/usr/share/perl5/MIME/Decoder/Base64.pm line 55.
Compilation failed in require at -e line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at -e line 1.
.. that wouldn't help much.
dpkg -S Base64.pm
libmime-perl: /usr/share/perl5/MIME/Decoder/Base64.pm
libmime-perl: /usr/share/doc/libmime-perl/html/Decoder/Base64.pm.html
perl: /usr/lib/perl/5.8.2/MIME/Base64.pm
Is this a bug in perl or the mime decoder then?
