testing release of Perl packages

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I've set up the perl packages to be accessed using apt-get on my
servers. You can of course also grab them via ftp or http.

I'd like to get 3 positive reports. Once I do, I'll announce it on
debian-devel. Hopefully more people will try it. Two days after that
I'll upload it to master. I was impressed 115 packages depended on
perl including ssh...

Here's the contact info:
http://www.daft.com/pub/debian/experimental/
ftp://ftp.daft.com/pub/debian/experimental/

and I have the following in the sources.list of my test machines:

deb http://www.daft.com/pub/debian/experimental ./
# deb-src http://www.daft.com/pub/debian/experimental ./

The deb-src doesn't work yet since I don't know how to make the Sources
file.

- From the README, here's the current task list for 0.9:
1) Fix bugs:
   a) find2perl is only available as a versioned script, use
      update-alternatives on it.
   b) The symlinks in /usr/doc for the fake packages are showing up as
real directories (see my post on debian-devel)
   c) Aborting the installation of perl-5.005-base doesn't stop the
unpacking of perl-5.005 and friends. (See my post on
      debian-devel)
   d) perl.1p.gz didn't have an update-alternatives --remove in the
      prerm.
3) Fix up the doc package
   a) Install the new Perl Policy Paper from Raphael.
   b) Hopefully this includes registering with doc-base but I don't
      promise anything
4) Install rename as a command.
