No, that's LOs realm. But extensions updates touch
/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/extensions to make LO do the syncronization
on the next start (and that probably touches this). This is far from
new, though.

But neither of those are extensions anyway. Besides the fact that no
change in -3 would explain this.
