Indeed: that's why (as I said above) on my sarge machines I installed
java-package, then I downloaded the binary packages for the JRE following
the download links in www.blackdown.org, then I produced debian packages
from them using the make-jpkg tool (included in java-package), then I
installed the resulting debs.
