Pui-Lam Wong, the lead of Chinese openoffice project, has confirmed that
this is a bug of the latest openoffice.
The following is what he replied to me.

OOo 1.1.1 passed our redhat test.
But currently, I'm getting the same problem under debian also.
I'm investigating about that.
I'll reply you when I find out the problem.

/usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz has some information about
changing the user-interface font:
