One annoying thing is that it is not as simple as doing an install-info
on the info file, as it should, because the info file does not contain
the proper strings that tell install-info where to create the entry in
the /usr/share/info/dir file.

Probably the simplest thing is to patch the texi file to contain that
info, and let upstream know.  The proper string can be adapted from the
similar one in odepkg.
