Sounds fine too.

I have no particular attachment to this. 50octave.el exists only because
another Nils kindly sent me a stanza which I included (and for which, as I
recall, I only needed to standardize the autoload line):

  * Includes two newer octave-{mod,inf} files and add an elisp startup
    file /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50octave.el (thanks to Nils Naumann)

This was long before any emacsen policies, so if it is time now to clean this
up, let's by all means do it,
